Hentai…Tentacles, Anyone?

You mention the word HENTAI to any regular American, they would probably respond with, “Oh, that’s the Japanese cartoon stuff where they fuck weird shit.” Well, they aren’t entirely wrong. Hentai is a type of manga/anime that’s specifically sexual. It is wonderful in it’s variety. There’s gay and lesbian, fetish, BDSM, and of course, creature features in hentai. If you can imagine it, there will be hentai for it.
There’s just so much going on. You want gay sex, there’s a hentai. You want Girl on girl, huge boobs, BDSM, or strange fetishes (lactation, water sports, etc.)? Hentai is the gift that keeps on giving. The most controversial is lolicon, that is very much (rightly so) considered child porn. Lolicon is generally banned in the West, but accepted in Japan.
Lastly, my favorite, Tentacle hentai. Yes, that’s the correct term. In tentacle hentai, the imagination goes batshit. There are monsters, aliens, zombies, everything a fantasy/sci fi nerd could want, except there’s fucking, and lots of it. A story usually accompanies the smut, but on most American porn sites, the hentai is usually chopped up into the juicy bits. Sexual force is pretty common in Tentacle hentai, which turns many off.
And, I adore it. I watched La Blue Girl in the early 1990’s, and have never looked back. This was the first movie where I’d seen actual creatures inserting tentacles into orifices. Luckily, I got a complete, uncensored copy without the annoying Japanese editing of genitalia: pixelated pussy. It was weird and rapey, and my college roomies took self-righteous hissy fits about the violence and smut. They missed the entire point of hentai.
I look at it this way: these are cartoons. It allows my mind to go to forbidden places and deviant behavior, and no one gets hurt in the production. When I get tired of rereading Game of Thrones for the umpteenth time, Tentacle hentai let’s my pervy little mind go on walkabout with a clear conscience. I know that no humans, critters, or otherworldly beings were damaged in the process. And by God, sometimes I want to see monsters doing weird shit. No shame.
